1950 Sunbeam Talbot 90 MK I

produced from 1948 to 1950, this model only had a few manufactured for USA (left hand drive) and this particular one grew up in the 60's in Albuquerque New Mexico, USA.  In 1967, it took one drive to Aztec, NM (180 miles) and was parked till 1980.  I traded for it and shortly was driving the Talbot to school for a year or two.  I covered and parked it from 1985 till 1997 (occasionally driving it to the corner and back).   It is re-licensed and back on the road,  Covered again in 1999.

1950 Sunbeam Talbot  90   MK I    Saloon
chassis number   3801653 LSX
engine number    2LD422
body color            green
interior color         brown (seat covers had green coat added later?)

I am not sure if I got the right location for the engine No,  it was
stamped on the right rear side of the block, next to the trans.
The car is a left side drive and the only knob left on the right is the B
(Bonnet) latch.    There is another stamp on the firewall that has an "STS3514" on it.

There has been no major repairs nor any restoration (which it does need).  The body is solid and it still runs good.  I do not have a garage for it, but do keep it covered and the dry New Mexico weather is very gentle.
