The second level history will pick up some loose ends and tie in names and families that are not just yet set up. This is way up the Marshall clan line.
The Paternal line, william (1819-1892) and elizabeth begat earnest. Alfred and isabel begat mary, hetty and nora (1877-1946). Ernest married nora and had cran (1913-2003) and kenzie. The 2003 'Last Flight' tribute is about the life of Cran.
Ernest was a chemist and hobbies included photography, astronomy, geology, and botany. He played the piano and violin and composed music. Nora had some of her oil paintings on display at an art show in New York in the 1930's. Ernest later married Caroline Clark and retired to Reading, CT. An article appeared in the Bridgeport newspaper about him in 1951.
Alfred dupree (then Preedy) lived to 90 and isabel (or was it isabel that was a preedy and then a dupree?) lived to 95 (d1934). At least Nora was a dupree, I think.... hmm.
Samual Mackenzie was dad to Elizabeth and received a medallion for the arts in Scotland in 1829.
